At the time we started making soapstone cookware, we too used to fasten the handles to the stone the traditional way, riveting bent copper tubes to a hoop which is then hammered into grooves along the upper side of the pot.
Few years later, when we felt the need to restyle our models, we noticed that this traditional method of fixing the handles limited greatly the possibilities of carrying out new designs. We then decided to reinvent tradition by developing a patented system for fastening any kind of handle straight to the stone without piercing it, so to leave its inner surface intact.
This system allows our clients to purchase our cookware either fully-equipped with the handles we offer, or to buy only the cookware shells ready to receive their own handles. This can be easily done by sending us some samples of the handles you want to apply, with which we’ll make the appropriate housings and leave the shells ready for you to mount the handles at your premises. As an alternative, you can ship us your handles and we’ll mount them for you on the cookware shells of your choice.
