Cookstone is an industrial artisan company founded in 1991 that produces high quality soapstone pans and  kitchenware. We focus our production on quality and innovation, creating unique kitchen tools that combine tradition and modernity.

Since 2002 all of our production is being exported to the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Canada, Japan and other countries, where our products are distributed to hotels, restaurants and the professional gourmet trade in general.

Besides perfecting the classic copper handles line, we’ve been reinventing tradition by applying new technical solutions. Our patented system for attaching any industrial handle directly to the stone allows us to create exclusive objects with unique design.

The same system allows us to attach a stainless steel plate to the bottom of the pan, which makes it fit for use on induction stoves. The metal plate acts as a flame diffuser as well: by spreading evenly the direct flame of gas stoves to the whole bottom of the pan, it avoids possible cracks due to uneven heating.
